Practice Nurses
The practice nurses are in most weekdays and may be seen by appointment. The nurses perform health checks, and provide advice on general health matters, family planning, cervical smears, routine vaccinations, childhood immunisations and travel vaccinations, including Yellow Fever, pre-diabetic advice, smoking cessation
Chronic Disease Management
The practice nurses have clinics to improve the understanding and management of chronic conditions. If you suffer from any Chronic Condition for eg Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Heart Disease, Hypertension then please make an appointment to see the Practice Nurse.
Antenatal/Postnatal Care
All of the doctors are qualified to provide maternity care. Please ask at reception for details. There is a midwife antenatal clinic on Tuesdays from 9.00am by appointment
Baby Clinic
6 week baby checks are carried out at the surgery on Tuesday mornings by appointment.
Fees/Private Patients
Please note that charges will be made for certain services. These include signing insurance claim forms, private prescriptions and some medical reports. Private patients can be seen by appointment. Please ask the Practice Manager for further details.
Blood tests
Patients having blood tests are asked to telephone the surgery 5 days after to obtain the results. Please telephone after 10.00 am and speak to the receptionists.
