Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to fill in the form detailing where and when you are travelling.  You will then need to telephone the surgery at least 24 hours later and speak to the receptionist who should be able to advise you which vaccinations you need and whether there is a charge for them.  She will also be able to make you an appointment with the practice nurse.

Information about countries and vaccinations required can be found on the links below:

It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as sometimes a second appointment will be required.  These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
