MB ChB Dundee 1996, MRCGP, DFFP. Dr Desai joined the Old Court House Surgery in 2002 as a Partner. His main interests are teaching and training, child protection and General Medicine. He is currently the Named Doctor for Child Protection for Barnet CCG . Dr Desai teaches 4th year medical students from University College London and is a GP Trainer. He enjoys sports especially cricket and has twins which keeps him busy outside his work.
MB,ChB Manc. 1996 MRCGP. Dr Farooqi joined the surgery in 2009 as a Partner. His main clinical interests are General Medicine, Men's Health, Paediatrics. He is also invovled in Teaching and Training in the surgery and teaches Junior doctors. Dr. Farooqi lives locally and is married with 2 young children. He enjoys cycling, swimming, travelling, cooking and supports Liverpool.
Her main interests are gynaecology and general medicine. She also enjoys teaching and medical education. Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her young daughter, as well as reading fiction novels and travelling
Her main clinical interests are End of Life Care and medical education. She is an avid rugby league fan and is kept busy outside of work by her young son and a rather rambunctious beagle
Jane has recently joined the practice as a part time nurse prescriber. She was previously working in Greenwich but found the travelling too much as she has a young family. Jane is very keen on tennis and cycling. She will be an asset to the practice team.
Katherine has recently joined our nursing team. She has a vast experience working in the NHS and working for Braun. She has recently returned to nursing after having twins and we feel that she will be an asset to the practice
Sophie is an HCA who is currently training to be a Nursing Associate. She is able to carry out many duties that nursing staff can carry out.
Sophie has two young children and is kept very busy with them and studying
